What we noticed
The same two complaints, over and over. Either somebody had been quoted a silly number for one wardrobe by a firm sized for households, or they had booked a cheap van and discovered halfway through that one person cannot manage a sofa on a staircase.
Both of those come from the same place: an assumption that small jobs are big jobs with less in them. They are not. They are different jobs with different failure modes, and the only sensible response is to quote them separately.
So we split it four ways
One item is a delivery problem — measure it, confirm the access, confirm the collection, and the job is essentially solved before anybody drives anywhere. One room is an access problem, because the room is easy and the shared hall is not. One van is a packing problem, because whether it fits was decided days earlier. A whole place is a planning problem, because nobody can hold all of it in their head.
Four counts. Four quotes. It sounds fussy and it is the reason our prices do not change on the doorstep.
Two people, always
Unless we have specifically agreed otherwise with you, including on single items. Most of the damage at this end of the trade happens when one person manages something that needed two hands at each end, and the saving is never worth the sofa.
And a straight answer about size
If what you have described is genuinely more than the van you are asking about, we will tell you before you book rather than after. Getting the booking by agreeing with you and then charging for a second trip is a way of doing business and it is not ours.

What we are not
Not a national brand with a local number, and not a listings site that sells your details to whoever pays. When you send an enquiry it comes to us.
We have no awards and no press coverage, and we are not going to invent any.
